I stayed here for the Labor Day's long weekend with my family and I couldn't be any more satisfied. From the beds, to the beds, everything spotless!!! Most beautiful part was our bedroom view we had, we were facing the pool. I just had a little issue of not having a kitchen in the room as I was told when I booked the room, but everything worked out perfectly. I will definitely stay here again. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. KEET IT UP TEAM! :))
Rooms are definitely over priced, BUT seeing as how it is the best you will find in Port Elgin, I can see why. Great service, and awesome breakfast!- ResponseActually Trevor No we didnt stay in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen, we were just two guests. Just a regular 2 double bed room(Called queen sized beds)And it was 250$ per night. Maybe you noticed wrong and have looked up the wrong guest. But thanks.
Great hotel for a family vacations. 5 minutes from Port Elgin beach. Friendly staff. Highly recommend their appartment suite which has 2 rooms and a full kitchen in it. It was expansive but most cottages don't rent just for a few days during the summer.We will be back for sure.
Overall, super 8 is a great hotel to stay at forsure! I got upgraded to a different room over the weekend. I got upgraded to room 101. Room 101 is newly renovated at Super 8. The room itself is great, clean, and updated. the only problem is that it is very close to front desk. That's not the only problem. The problem is that it is so close to front desk, you can literally hear every conversation that goes on and can hear when people are coming in from the outside. It sounds like they are in my hotel room even though they are just at the front desk. I've personally stayed at this Super 8 many times before and I have been on the second level, but this is my second time being in room 101. Just a little noisy for my liking. Because at night when you are trying to sleep you hear everything from the front. I personally wouldn't recommend room 101. Overall, hotel is beautiful! Very nice workers! Breakfast in the morning is fresh! Kitchen staff is always checking to see what food needs to be replenish! I recommend this hotel! just not room 101. I didn't have a lovely sleep.
Not bad as a motel, definitely better than other Super8, but...The room was a little smelly. We had to turn on the fan at high. But the bath tub is very clean. And for the quality of the accommodation, it is definitely overpriced. For the same price, I can get a four star hotel room with a king bed.The staff is however very friendly.The hot breakfast buffet included was nice.Ample of parking.
