Not the best fish and chips I've ever had but still good. Love that the tartar sauce is on the table in a big bottle instead of the little packages. Wait staff very friendly and seemed like a lot of them....mostly students. Pay at the cash when ready to go was nice, when we were done we left when we wanted. Busy place best to go off time if you dont want to wait
Love, love, love this place! I have been coming about once a year, for the past 30 years, and it's still as good (if not better than) my first visit. Was there on Friday night and had the Seafood Chowder and Halibut Fish and Chips. Both were absolutely delicious. Lots of seafood in the chowder, plus a nice thick-cut of halibut in the most delicious batter. Service was nice and efficient. Best fish and chip place ever.
These people know how to make great fish and chips! The restaurant is a few minutes on bicycle from the MacGregor Provincial park, so if you are camping make sure to make the trip. It is absolutely worth it. Also they have super tasty garlic bread with cheese, just the memory of it makes me want to go back!
Went for the all you can eat haddock at lunch. Excellent food and value. No pressure to finish all of the french fries before being able to ask for more fish. Coating on fish was nice and crispy, the way I like it. Fries were great too and not over salted. Coleslaw very tasty. I would recommend this meal.
Very good quality, not greasy so not much heavy feeling after eating. Every Monday and Tuesday is all you can eat which is big hit so very busy. I took one star away because I found that finer fish like Halibut and Cod the piece size is little smaller..
