Great meals....really good quality. Got a burger...clearly a homemade patty. Meals are big and tasty...service was excellent and the washrooms were nicely upkept. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. For a Family of 5 with 3 young ones...we were very pleasantly surprised.
Bar and family eating, only place in Port Elgin with lot of space and outside in summer. Typical Canadian food, all good quality and well priced, check daily specials. Pizza, Burger, wings, steak sandwiches, nice menu.. fast service but in summer expect delays so plan ahead. Good food, nice place and efficient staff. Good place to eat with family in small town! Enjoy
We decided on Queens for lunch while we were in town for Pumpkin Fest. With the amount of people in the tavern we were served in a timely manner the food was good however, a teaspoon of coleslaw wasnt worth putting on the plate. Plum sauce wasnt sufficient for the amount of chicken fingers when I asked for more plum sauce I was told it would be $1.00. My husband asked for more mayo and was charged an extra 1.00 as well. I really dont like that we spent 40.00 for lunch and they nickel and dimed us. $10.00 for a salad that portion wise was a $5.00 salad. We wont be back.
What a Great place to relax and meet new friends. The bartender (visiting from Australia) was so friendly and Welcoming.We had the wings and they were fantastic. We will definately come back.
What a great place to come into on a cool fall day! The bar was warm as well as the staff. Due to the fact that it was Pumpkinfest we expected a wait for our table. We were told it would be 20 minutes but we were welcome to sit at the bar where we ordered a drink. Turns out we didn't have to wait 20 minutes and were seated and served promptly in spite of the fact that it was a very busy day. The food was delicious and came to our table in a timely manner and well priced for the generous portion! We'll definitely keep this restaurant in mind for another trip to Port Elgin!
